Athlete Protection

Effective with the 2012 membership year, which begins on September 1, 2011, all non-athlete members are required to successfully complete the online Athlete Protection Training course (APT). You will not receive your 2012 membership card until such time as you complete and pass this training.

The course will be available on the USA Swimming website (www.usaswimming.org) beginning on September 15, 2011. We apologize for the delay. You will receive a confirmation email from Praesidium, our APT partner, after you successfully complete the training. At that time, we will be notified automatically and your 2012 membership card will be mailed to you.
