UPDATED JUNE 24, 2009 - PLEASE CHECK YOUR TEAM REGISTRATION AND COACHES REGISTRATION

USA REGISTRATION

Coaches can always check their USA Swimming Club Portal for athletes registration/times and for non athlete registrations.

Swimmers registered for 2009 (Updated 6/24/9)

These athletes are registered for the 2009 season. If you are not on this list you may NOT swim at workouts nor enter (swim) USA swim meets beginning 1/1/9.

Non-athletes registered for 2009 (6/24/2009) These Non-athletes are allowed to coach/officiate ( as indicated), if not listed they may not participate in USA Swimming meets nor be the solo coach at workouts. If you are listed as OTHER you may not coach at meets nor coach without a legal coach on deck with you.

Registered Coaches for 2009 (6/24/2009)

Clubs Registered for 2009 (6/24/2009) Clubs not listed may not participate in USA swim meets and may NOT hold any USA swimming workout until the club is registered. You are not covered by any insurance beginning 1/1/9

There should be no reason for a TEAM/COACH to enter an Athlete into a meet without being registered with USA Swimming. If a swimmer is not listed above and not in your USA Swim Club Portal they are not registered and can not be entered into a meet. 302.4 False Registration – A host LSC may impose a fine up to $100.00 per event against a member coach or a member club submitting a meet entry which indicates a swimmer is registered with USA Swimming when that swimmer or the listed club is not properly registered. Registration is not complete until forms, recap sheets and money are received in the office.

TRANSFER'S----all transfers must complete a transfer form with appropriate payment to be considered PROPERLY transferred/registered.

Have you race start certified all of your swimmers?

As of May 1, 2009 ALL swimmers must be race start certified in order to do racing starts in practice or competition into

less than 6 feet of water. Additional explanation and certification forms are available on the USA Swimming website on

the Coaches’ Tab.   Failure to complete the certification process jeopardizes insurance coverage in the event of a

racing start accident
